Outcomes: An increasing number of children arrive at school these days with one or more "labels" identifying specific learning and/or behaviour disorders. As many as 1 in 5 children may be diagnosed with such difficulties and yet it is often hard to find out how best to address their problems and learning, and the difficult behaviour types that so many of them exhibit.
Knowledge is power! Support Staff can have a major impact on how such pupils progress at school, as long as they have the information needed to put in place effective strategies that can support your pupils with various Special Educational Needs.
